Marsi is 34 years old and a loving mom of 6 year old son, who resides in the Encinitas area. She has a B.A. in Social Sciences with an emphasis in Sociology and is currently pursuing a Multiple Subject Teaching Credential at Cal State San Marcos. Marsi has home-schooled her own child and has enjoyed tutoring other children in reading, math, and language arts in Montessori schools, public schools, and bilingual classrooms. She currently teaches a fun 1st & 2nd grade art class, and after school Spanish enrichment at Capri Elementary in Encinitas. She is also a teacher’s aide at St. John’s School of Religious Education. Marsi is available for nanny/sitter work, homework assistance, and Spanish tutoring at various hours throughout the day and evenings.
What are your most endearing qualities?: -I have much love and patience with children. Also, I always look for opportunites for children to have enriching learning experiences, which is why I am pursuing a career in education and part-time work as a caregiver. What do you think the parent expects of you as a babysitter/nanny?: -A parent would expect me to be a trustworthy "Mother's Helper". A babysitter/nanny should be highly responsible and should be able to anticipate the needs of a child. What do you think you have to offer a family or a child? -I have to offer my own experience and expertise in being a parent.
