Who Are We?

I’m Jessica Welch and I own the company Art 4 Children Inc, which provides after school programs in North County San Diego as well as seasonal camps that are located in San Marcos.

We are not a big corporation, just a small company that runs terrific programs in the SMUSD, CUSD & VUSD (elementary & middle schools currently). We are working on becoming Non-Profit which is really exciting, as it means our programs can reach more families and more schools!

Our classes are known for being as high a quality as an off-site school or learning center that parents would enroll their children in after school. We also run seasonal camps 14 weeks a year in coordination with SMUSD. We have one fabulous employee, Jenn Rubattino who is our camp and programs director for all of our schools and at our on site art class and camp location. We contract with some of the best & well known local businesses that provide us with highly trained teachers as well as contract our own trained professionals to provide services under the Art 4 Children name.

Our company has grown strictly by word of mouth. This allows us to give your school the best start possible which includes presentations, meetings, promotions and anything we need to do to give you the best programs and dedication Art 4 Children can offer.

In addition to our terrific prices we are not “corporate” so you deal directly with us, and parents receive the personal attention they need and the quality customer service they deserve to help them feel comfortable placing their children in our program. We deal directly with your PTO members, director or the principal - whichever is easier - to ensure a smooth running program.

If you already have a program in place, allow us to enhance it with our specialty classes! Schedule a time during your PTO/A meeting and we can make a short presentation about our programs and classes.

Our Mission

Art for Children was founded for parents and children. We know the families of your school are investing in their children's future. We nurture each child, to use the skills they have, as well as develop others, to become expressive, creative and imaginative individuals. We want them to live more fulfilled lives, and in turn, give back to their community. We try to create independent and confident children by preparing them for their challenging academic & creative world.
