    Early Drop (ED) & Extended Camp (EC):
  • Regular Drop off is 9:15-9:25am. Drop your child off as early as 8:00 AM for $5 an hour per child.
  • Regular pick up is at 2:15pm. Your child can attend Extended Camp on a sign-up basis.
  • Early care is always available at 8AM.

    Our registration deadline is Dec 15th. After which there is a $10 late registration fee. The only other fees we charge are for excessive class switches.

    Brief class descriptions:
  • Art & Sculpture/Craft Kids: Led by Jessica Welch. Children will have the opportunity to explore creating with a variety of mixed media and make awesome projects that you won't want to get rid of!
  • Dance: Led by Jr Jazzercise Instructors & FIT KIDS USA with hip hop flavor. Warm ups, high energy and a great cool down. Routines will be learned and fun will be had! Kids will have fun dancing to their favorite music and learning all the latest dance moves. Fitness games, nutrition and learning to love exercise is emphasized in a non-competitive atmosphere. All instructors are certified through Jazzercise Inc and are experienced in getting children motivated!
  • Karate: Led by Franco or Crisann from Bushikan Dojo. This is their 4th year working with us and the kids have a blast learning basic self-defense & martial arts. A great class that gets the heart rate up for the entire time! Children will be learning life saving self-defense techniques partnered with increasing their awareness and focus in a public setting. Sensei Franco Sanguinetti has been a practitioner of the Martial Arts for 33 years and has taught at surrounding schools in the daycare, elementary and college level for over 18 years. His focus with the children is to teach them important self-defense techniques and also to reinforce the concepts of respect and discipline, central to the traditional Martial Arts.
  • Drama: Led by Jessica Welch. Children both shy and out-going will have the chance to be both on stage and an audience to young actors learning the basics of acting, stage presence, pantomime, commercial making, skit-performing & best of all, forming friendships. Also, Students will develop, explore and communicate ideas and feelings through improvisational play. Everything is age appropriate for the children in this class. We even do face-painting. This class is process, not performance oriented is sure to enlighten the most timid child. Memorization is a not a requirement of this class.
  • Drawing Masters: Led by Jessica Welch. Children will get to have a directed-style drawing lesson of all those awesome Master Artists. Working with all sorts of media!
  • Drumming: Led by Joanna Moody, Discovery elementary dedicated music teacher. Drums and fun! We provide the drums!
  • Flag Football: Kids will learn football basics such as passing, catching and plays! We'll build self esteem through drills, obstacle course and training. We'll concentrate on strength, flexibility and cardio. Wear comfortable clothes and good shoes. We'll provide the flags, footballs and the FUN! Brought to you by Fit Kids America, a non profit organization dedicated to fitness for the future!
  • Voice: Led by Joanna Moody. Children will learn how to sing hopefully in tune! A great class for a child who loves to sing, learn songs and have fun!
  • Workshop: (Radical Reptiles on Dec 30th at 1:15) Join John Taibe from Radical Reptiles & Friends as they introduce the children to a menagerie of live animals including snakes, frogs, turtles, tarantulas, millipedes, lizards, bugs and other creepy crawlies.As the children explore the animal kingdom, they will have a unique hands-on experience enhanced by art, games and various projects related to these animals.
  • Workshop: (Art, Drawing & Sculpture on Dec 22, 23, 29 at 1:15) Art 4 Children presents art workshops in sculpture from Jessica Welch (Dec 23) & Drawing Secrets Revealed owner, Kyle (Dec 22 & 29)!

    Emergency Medical Release & Liability Waiver:
    I hereby give my consent to Art 4 Children Inc, whose Seasonal Camp located at 1615 Schoolhouse Way - 92078 to administer first aid, to authorize a medical doctor to examine or treat my child, to authorize necessary emergency treatment at a nearby emergency hospital, and/or to order an ambulance transportation for my child while he/she is in attendance at this Seasonal Camp at Art 4 Children Inc. I agree to accept the financial responsibilities for any cost thus incurred in the treatment of any illness, accident or injury of the above named minor. I hereby give permission to Art 4 Children to use a picture or pictures of my child for promotional, publicity, and news purposes related to the operating of the said camp/school.

    I hereby authorize and give permission to Art4Children to release into the custody of only parent and any additional names I have listed below (redundant info you already told us above - this ensures we have this information correct):
    This information can be updated by parent/guardian anytime before or during camp with a written note or phone call.

    I understand and agree that by signing this waiver form, I am freeing Art 4 Children Inc, San Elijo Elementary, it's PTO, it's officers, consultants, instructors or other agents from any liability resulting from my child's participation all camp activities for these 2008 camps. I understand that if my child is injured this waiver will be used against me and anyone else claiming damages because of my child's injury or any other incident in any legal action. I also accept all responsibility for my child after camp is over. By signing this form, I have also read and understand that my 50% deposit is non-refundable and there are NO REFUNDS after payment has been sent. If I wish to change my child's class choices after registration, there is a $10 fee per class change or program changes or week switches. I also understand that I will be billed $5 per hour or $2 per 15 minutes for Extended Camp (starting at 2:20pm) or Early Drop (dropping off prior to 9:10). I certify that I have personally read and understand this waiver and release.

    Art 4 Children Inc Program Policies:
    • Drop off is between 9:15-9:25. Pick up is prompt by 2:15.
    • Early Drop is from 8:00-9:14. Extended camp is from 220-3pm.
    • You will be billed $2 per 15 minutes or $5 per hour for Early Drop or Extended Camp. This bill must be paid with cash or check at the end of your weekly program. If we have to mail the bill, we charge a $5 S&H fee.
    • Your 50% deposit is non-refundable and there are NO REFUNDS after payment has been sent.
    • If your child falls in and has to miss several days or the entire week, we offer no make-ups or refunds.
    • Campers need to dress comfortable in older clothing. We are not responsible for soiled clothing, as we do get messy with some projects.
    • Children should pack a healthy lunch + Water - NO CANDY.
    • If your child has a special need, please take the time to inform us so we can inform our staff and better serve the needs of your child.
    • These policies as well as additional policies will require your initial & signature at the time of registration.
